Gran Vi Selección Especial is the iconic flagship wine of Can Gelat: a powerful yet refined Mediterranean blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Monastrell, crafted from specially selected grapes and aged for 20 months in fine French oak.
Deep red with purple reflections. The nose is intense and layered, with ripe blackberries, dark plum, Mediterranean rosemary, subtle balsamic notes, dark chocolate and refined black pepper.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, concentrated and elegant. Rich dark fruit, fresh herbal notes and ripe, velvety tannins create a beautifully balanced structure. Despite its power, the wine remains fresh, precise and never heavy.
The finish is long and complete, with lingering dark fruit, Mediterranean spice and a refined bittersweet touch reminiscent of orange peel and dark chocolate.
A perfect match for premium steak, grilled meats and rich Mediterranean dishes.
